WHO SHOULD COME … Couples, friends, family members, solo travelers – just as long as you enjoy amazing food and wine, quaint medieval villages and sweeping Italian vistas!

WHERE WE STAY … For the first four days of the Fall Food & Wine Tour, we stay at the elegant Castello di Semivicoli, a restored castle owned by Masciarelli, one of Abruzzo’s most lauded wine-growing families.  Semivicoli is the essence of refined country living and there you’ll delight in the tasteful juxtaposition of old and new, enjoy a sommelier-guided wine-tasting and relax with a cocktail in the castle’s “secret garden.”  For the next three days of the tour, we call the whimsically elegant Castello Chiola home. Built in the 9th Century, Chiola is located in the beautiful medieval town of Loreto Aprutino, known for its top-notch olive oil and well-preserved historic center.

From there, we’ll whisk you off to Abruzzo in a private coach bus.  We strongly recommend that you arrive in Rome at least one day before the start of the tour to ensure that you’ll meet the group on time (with the added benefit of sleeping off the jetlag and wandering the Eternal City for an evening.)  We’d be happy to suggest a few of our favorite places to stay, things to do and foods to eat!

Deposit; Terms & Conditions:  A 50% deposit (the “Deposit”), payable to Three Little Guys LLC (D./B/A Majella Home Cooking) (hereinafter, “MHC”), of which $500 is non-refundable for administrative fees, is required at the time of the reservation of the program (hereinafter, “the Program”) for each participant (“Participant”).  Upon payment of the Deposit to MHC, the Participant expressly agrees to be bound by the Terms & Conditions set forth in the following link:  CLICK HERE FOR TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR MHC TOURS

Here’s What Our Guests Have to Say About Our Trips…

From Razia, Washington:
Michelle, thank you for providing an accessible trip for me to make visiting Abruzzo possible! It couldn’t have been made better through and through from start to finish – with the opportunities to explore so many magical places (I can’t forget those fireflies on our night hike!), and taste so many pieces of heaven – the saffron lasagna, Marisa’s amazing ravioli, and the zucchini blossoms, and all the cheeses, and everything! It was heavenly and I miss every minute of it every single day – it was such a gift to be able to partake in every daily adventure.

From Shirley, Maine:
Thank you for sharing your passion for Abruzzo with us. We all felt the fact that you are authentically in love with the place. Your wide eyed wonder for the simplicity of this motherland wrapped us in humility for the simple blessings of the earth. When folks ask how my trip was I found that my reply has been… It was just like going home! Again… grazie!

From Becca, Boston:
I am still talking non-stop about our trip. I loved it more than I can explain. Thank you so much for everything. My two friends are contacting you as we speak to sign up for next year! Can’t wait to join you for another adventure in Abruzzo!

From Linda D, New York:
You really outdid yourself in the planning and execution of our week in the Majella. We could not have asked for a better tour. Marisa and staying at Pietranica was a delight and our daily journeys were adventurous (to say the least!) and educational, not to mention DELICIOUS. I am so grateful that I was a part of your “maiden tour” of [la] Majella and Decontra. … MANY, MANY, THANKS for an amazing, unforgettable vacation.
